Wisteria Floribunda Rosea – Pink Japanese Wisteria

This rare Japanese twining vine is awesome in springtime as it leafs out and flowers with large, drooping clusters of pink, fragrant flowers. The vine often climbs trees, and is most striking when seen in full bloom draped from the limbs of a high pine. Leaves consist of 7 to 13 leaflets of large size; after flowering, very attractive, velvety pods are produced, containing seed. Winter aspect is a snarled, tangled mass of naked vine. Wisteria is usually very long-lived, and trunks can become quite large. Vines are woody and tough.
Supplied as flowering sized strong plants in an approx. 2-3 litre containers at a height of around 150-200cm.
