Our Returns & Exchanges policy is designed to be as straightforward and supportive as your gardening journey with us.

  • Return Window: 15 days from the date of delivery.
  • Processing Time: Once we receive your return, please allow 5-7 business days for inspection and processing.
  • Refund Timeline: Refunds will be issued within 14 business days after return approval.

Our Returns & Exchanges Promise

We accept returns and exchanges for plants and products that arrive damaged, diseased, or incorrectly shipped. To be eligible, the item must be in its original condition, with the original packaging and labels, and must not have been planted or substantially altered.

Step-by-Step Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Return Request

Within 15 days of receiving your order, please contact our Manchester-based customer care team at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • Product name (e.g., ‘Astilbe Plants’, ‘Allium Bulbs’)
  • Reason for return (damaged, incorrect item, etc.)
  • Photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions

Our team will respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions for returning your item. Please do not ship any items back without an RMA number.

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

Please repackage the item securely in its original packaging, if possible. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Ship the return to:

Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or damaged item). We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

Step 4: Inspection and Processing

Once received, our gardening specialists will inspect the returned item. We will notify you via email once the inspection is complete and your return is approved or declined.

Refunds and Exchanges

Upon approval, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).

  • Timeline: Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Amount: The refund will include the product price and any applicable taxes. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for another (e.g., swap Dianthus for Echinacea Plants), please indicate this in your initial email. We will guide you through placing a new order for the desired item, and once your return is received and approved, we will issue a refund or credit for the original item.

Non-Returnable Items

To ensure the health and viability of living plants, and in line with standard horticultural practice, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Flower Bulbs (e.g., Daffodil & Narcissi Bulbs, Allium Bulbs) once the shipping season has ended, as their viability is time-sensitive.
  • Any plant that has been planted, cut, or substantially altered from its received state.
  • Items purchased during a final clearance or special promotion marked as “Non-Returnable.”

Analysis Note: Based on the website’s focus on perishable, living horticultural products (bulbs, perennials, climbing plants), items with a biological shelf-life or those altered post-delivery are excluded from returns to ensure quality and prevent misuse.
