Miscanthus Gracillimus

This gorgeous ornamental grass forms a statuesque clump of finely textured green foliage that bleaches to pale straw colour in late Autumn, lending it well for use in mixed borders and extending the season of interest in to the shorter days of the year.

The slender arching leaves of Miscanthus Gracilimus have a distinctive white stripe down the centre, and although it does not flower as reliably as other Miscanthus sinensis varieties, when it does, it produces striking, silky brown flowers that hang like tassels. It is relatively compact, so is ideal for larger patio planters too. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
